Kforce has a client in Atlanta, GA that is looking for multiple Senior and Lead Sterling Engineers to join the team. Overview: This person will be supporting the COM group (Customer Order Management) and will be supporting the retirement of legacy applications as well as sterling implementation/upgrade. This team manages all the all the orders (online, in person, etc.) as well as the way orders are processed and fulfilled, which is all built on top of sterling. They also manage all the financial transactions for all the vendors they work with. Their entire system is built on IBM sterling OMS and they continue to upgrade to the latest versions and add in new configurations etc. They do coding within sterling written in Java (dom parsing) and although Java is not a must have, it is a big plus. They really need someone who is pure sterling at their core and can pick up the other tools and technologies. Everything else within COM is built on Java/Spring boot and running on PCF/GCP, Kafka and pubsub. They also use TDD for testing (various frameworks including Junit) and CI/CD using Jenkins/Concourse.
