Your role:
Manage the team: plan, organize, oversee team operations and performance
Supervise and perform accounting periods closing activities for in-scope entities
Ensure proper US GAAP and local accounting/tax treatment for balance sheet and P&L
Coordinate, oversee activities end effectively cooperate with other internal departments and with external services providers
Schedule necessary steps and prepare required documentation and/or organize preparation of statutory financial statements for in-scope entities
Verification of documentation and parts of financial statements prepared by other team members and/or external service providers
Supervise and support internal audits and external audits of financial statements for entities in scope
Preparation of the calculations and reporting for: income tax provision, deferred tax, WHT and local taxes
Prepare necessary information and details of transactions for the purposes of Transfer Pricing documentation
Supervise and/or prepare statistical reports for entities in scope
Prepare of various required/ad-hock reports, calculations, analysis or presentations
Support implementation and maintenance of IT systems
Optimize, standardize and automate processes and reports.
Your background:
Higher education with major Accountancy, Finance, Economics
Sound knowledge of accounting standards
Relevant experience in Finance or Accounting departments min. 6 years
Experience in financial statements preparation
Experience in supervisory position min. 3 years
Excellent analytical skills, attention to details
Very good computer skills - especially MS Excel
Very good knowledge of English
Very good interpersonal and communication skills
Strong time management and organization skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines and manage a number of projects simultaneously
Knowledge of US GAAP
Knowledge of SAP, HFM
Certificates e.g. Certified Accountant, ACCA
