Senior Statutory Accountant

Job Description:

Role: Senior Statutory Accountant

Location: Remote (Poland-based)

Responsibilities:

Supervising and preparing recurring entries (accrual, posting of local bank entries)

Month end report and download of data

Preparing set of financials for national statistic reporting to local government bodies

Analysis and queries on variances during monthly, quarterly and annual reviews

Driving audit and responding to audit queries

Investigation of anomalies or unusual entries

Use of SAP and peripheric systems

Collaboration with country lead, tax teams, and international colleagues

Monitoring of equity, request and presentation of capital request BS monitoring

Requirements:

Excellent English is critical

Accounting qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in an accounting role

Very good independence and self-motivation in a fully remote environment

Analytical thinking and attention to detail

Ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision

Familiarity with SAP or other financial systems is a plus

Curious and capable of questioning status quo
