Insulet Corporation, maker of Omnipod, is the leader in tubeless insulin pumps. We are looking for experienced Cloud Software Engineers to lead the development of our next generation of products. As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, Cloud, you will work with a team of skilled developers building services that support our medical devices, mobile applications, partner integrations, and data analytics. You will partner with teams, both local and abroad, to build world class medical device software. Candidates should have experience leading teams and developing production-quality software.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop Cloud-based solutions using technologies such as AWS, MongoDB, Kafka, Java, SpringBoot and moreMentor and motivate software developers to deliver high quality code using software best practices and patternsEnsure quality and consistency in software architecture and implementationEvaluate new technologies and explore solution alternatives; develop prototypesWork with senior team members to plan and execute project objectives; provide detailed and timely status; identify risk mitigations when neededLearn and follow Insulet design assurance SOPsProvide timely support to team customers, internal and externalRespond to production escalations and coordinate resolution amongst team

Education and Experience:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering or equivalent experience10+ years software development experience or equivalent5+ years leading software development teams or equivalent

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $163,050.00 - $244,575.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
