Description A healthcare company, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Senior Staff Accountant to join its growing finance and accounting team. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role offers a unique opportunity to be a key contributor to the accounting department by inputting, analyzing, and reporting financial data that drives decision-making and organizational success. Job Description: As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting processes. Your responsibilities will include: + Journal Entries: Preparing and posting journal entries related to payroll and revenue to maintain accurate financial records. + Reconciliations: Reconciling general ledger accounts and ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly. + Financial Statements: Analyzing and preparing monthly financial statements to provide accurate, timely insights to stakeholders. + Supplemental Schedules: Preparing additional schedules to support the month-end reporting package and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements. Requirements + Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. + Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a corporate or similar setting. + Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with hands-on experience in journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. + Organizational Skills: Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. + Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and thoroughness, ensuring high-quality results in all financial analyses and reporting.
