Description Senior Staff Accountant We are looking for a motivated Senior Staff Accountant to join our clients team in Stamford, Connecticut. (HYBRID OPPORTUNITY - 2 in/3 out) The position offers upward mobility, gaining managerial responsibilities and overseeing key accounting processes. Responsibilities • Perform comprehensive reconciliations for prepaid expenses, depreciations, accruals, and balance sheets. • Handle several bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly. • Review and analyze general ledger accounts and journal entries for accuracy. • Support contract and revenue accounting processes. • Assist in cleaning up and organizing accounting records, ensuring compliance and clarity. • Ensure the successful completion of month-end close procedures. • Conduct detailed account reviews to identify and rectify inconsistencies. Requirements • Strong knowledge of account reconciliation, journal entries, and general ledger processes. • Proficiency in bank reconciliations and balance sheet management. • Familiarity with NetSuite or comparable accounting software.
