About the job

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Kantar - LIFT ROI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our AI-driven systems by ensuring a secure and scalable infrastructure. Your work will directly impact our developers’ ability to deliver value faster, empowering innovation across our product development teams. By managing Kubernetes clusters in AWS and Azure, along with databases, networking, and CI/CD pipelines, you will be at the core of our system’s reliability.

You will collaborate closely with the AI and Development teams in Bangalore and Copenhagen, enhancing deployment processes and developing custom tools to streamline workflows. Your contributions will ensure seamless integration between teams and foster a culture of efficiency and innovation, all while supporting Kantar’s mission to remain a leader in cutting-edge technology.

Job Goals

Enhance and maintain Kubernetes clusters in AWS and Azure to ensure optimal system reliability and scalability.

Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines, streamlining build and deployment systems for faster delivery of value by the development teams.

Collaborate closely with the AI and Development teams in Bangalore and Copenhagen to enhance deployment processes and drive innovation.

Create and implement custom tools to support developers, improving workflows and fostering a culture of efficiency.

Monitor and manage critical infrastructure components such as databases, logging, monitoring, and networking to support smooth operations.

Ideal Skills & Capabilities

Kubernetes and Cloud Management: Expertise in Kubernetes orchestration, preferably with Kops, and experience with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Infrastructure and Networking: Strong understanding of network technologies and protocols, alongside proficiency in Linux administration, particularly Debian systems.

Containerisation and CI/CD Pipelines: Solid experience with Docker and proficiency in developing and managing CI/CD systems such as CircleCI and ArgoCD.

Monitoring and Logging Systems: Competence in setting up and managing monitoring tools like Prometheus and unified logging platforms like Graylog.

Programming and Automation: Proficiency in a relevant programming language such as Go or Python, with knowledge of GitOps principles and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
