Job Description About the Role We are looking for a Senior SQL Engineer to lead the design and implementation of SQL-based solutions powering our critical applications and workflows. This role goes beyond writing SQL code - it's about defining standards, mentoring peers, owning architecture, and enabling productivity through AI, CI/CD, and automation. Responsibilities · Architect, develop, and optimize SQL Server solutions including stored procedures, ETL packages (SSIS), and schema designs. · Lead performance tuning, root cause analysis, and system-level SQL improvements. · Collaborate across business, QA, and infrastructure teams to define requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions. · Drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines for SQL deployments using GitLab or similar tools. · Use VS Code, SSMS, and Visual Studio for scalable development and debugging. · Enforce Git workflows (e.g., feature branching, pull requests) and conduct peer code reviews. · Serve as a mentor to junior engineers and promote documentation best practices. · Champion the use of AI-assisted tooling (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) to drive efficiency, automation, and quality in development.
