Senior Specifier Sales Engineer

As a Senior Specifier Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for selling Resideo's Honeywell Home products to design offices and specifiers the Czech Republic and Slovakia, with a specific focus on specifiers within the Prague area. 

The Senior Specifier Sales Engineer is expected to work with customers to get Resideo heating and water products specified on both new build and refurbishment construction projects, providing ongoing technical support throughout the sales process.

You are highly accomplished sales professional from a technical engineering background, with experience selling HVAC, thermostats, valves or hydronic heating system products being highly advantageous.

 

JOB DUTIES:

Deliver Key Performance Indicators and Sales Revenue Targets Build great relationships with specifiers and design offices across the Czech Republic, identifying project opportunities and meeting quote to order conversion expectations  Acquisition of new specifiers to use Honeywell products Cooperate with technical support when new documentation is being provided Supervision of contracts with specifiers Conduct periodic business reviews with all customers in the region to look at their requirements for the Company’s products as compared to their forecasted requirements and previous year Discuss and work on concepts with prospective customers to start business with the Company Work with design offices to incorporate Resideo products into projects Create project offers for installation designers based on Resideo products Collaborate with designers to convert offers from competitors to Resideo products Visit design offices and developers to present Resideo's offerings and highlight the benefits of using Resideo products Organise training sessions and events for HVAC installation designers Working with companies that develop software to assist in installation design Co-creating and/or translating technical materials Follow up on leads identified through inside sales support Responsibility for the various MarCom and Marketing activities in the sales region in accordance with the MarCom communication plan  Frequently follow up to make sure that customers have received and responded communication from the company and maintain the database of opportunities/contacts in the current CRM system

 

YOU MUST HAVE:

Extensive technical sales experience within the field of specification  Ability to provide ongoing technical support to specifiers  Fluent in Czech and English 

 

WE VALUE:

Knowledge of HVAC, thermostats, valves, or hydronic heating systems Excellent communication and presentation skills  A certification, or previous authorisation responsibilities for project specifications within heating, cooling or water installations Studies in or exposure to indoor environmental or building services engineering
