The Treasury Capital Markets Investments team manages fixed-income investments in several portfolios totaling over $200 billion in balance sheet assets primarily for the benefit of Charles Schwab Corporation, Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., Charles Schwab Bank, Charles Schwab Premier Bank, and Charles Schwab Trust Bank.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our trading and portfolio management team. This is an excellent entry point into the world of trading and investment management, providing hands-on exposure to broad range of asset classes and markets. The role is designed for candidates eager to build a strong foundation in trade operations, risk awareness and market mechanics, while working closely with experienced traders and portfolio managers.
As a member of the Treasury Capital Markets group, you will play a key role in supporting and executing trades in various fixed-income instruments while seeking to optimize portfolio returns within the corporate policy, risk, and regulatory framework. Sectors under management for this position include agency and private-label commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) and asset-backed securities (ABS), municipal bonds, agency mortgage-backed securities (MBS) and collateralized-mortgage obligations (CMO). Contribution to portfolio strategies and other projects as assigned in support of department goals and objectives will be expected.
