As a Sr Specialist, Payroll/Benefits in Germany, you will be accountable for managing and overseeing the payroll and benefits processes for our employees in Germany. You will ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries, wages, and benefits, while ensuring compliance with German payroll and benefits regulations. Your expertise in German payroll and benefits processes will be crucial in maintaining employee satisfaction and ensuring legal compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for employees in Germany, including data entry, calculations, and disbursementsEnsure compliance with German payroll and benefits regulations, including tax and social security requirementsEnsure accurate and timely payment of salaries, wages, and benefits to employeesManage relationships with external payroll and benefits vendorsRespond to employee inquiries and resolve payroll and benefits-related issuesWork with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and implement best practices in payroll and benefits managementDrive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of payroll and benefits operationsYOU MUST HAVE6+ years of relevant experience in payroll and benefits managementStrong knowledge of payroll and benefits processes, laws, and regulations in GermanyExperience with German payroll software and systemsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong problem-solving and thoughtful skills WE VALUEBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related fieldExperience with German tax and social security requirementsFamiliarity with German labor laws and employment regulationsStrong communication and people-oriented skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentExceptional leadership and people management skillsContinuous improvement mindset and ability to drive process enhancementsProfessional certifications in payroll and benefits management are preferred
