This role ensures adidas operates safely and responsibly by overseeing occupational health & safety and fire prevention measures across all owned locations globally. You will act as a key advisor on safety matters, drive continuous improvement in our safety programs, and contribute to the development and implementation of our global H&S strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert support on occupational safety, accident prevention, and first aid protocols
Ensure proactive and compliant fire safety measures across all sites and facilities
Collaborate with external vendors to uphold safety standards and service performance
Conduct regular audits and site inspections to improve compliance and drive best practices
Maintain open communication with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies on all H&S matters
Support the implementation and operation of H&S management systems (e.g., Quentic, Resolver)
Ensure legal compliance and fulfillment of the company’s health & safety obligations
Contribute to achieving and maintaining IMS certifications through audit support and documentation
Provide subject-matter expertise on complex or high-risk H&S challenges
Manage global H&S documentation, including playbooks, training records, procedures, and performance statistics

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field; NEBOSH certification or local equivalent required
Minimum 4 years’ experience in workplace Health & Safety, ideally in corporate or multi-site settings
Solid understanding of ISO standards (14001, 45001, 50001) and Integrated Management Systems
Experience with H&S management platforms is an advantage (e.g., Quentic, Resolver)
