Job Description

The purpose of this role is to provide specialized support to manage and report on P&O data and information, enabling leaders to access the insights they need to meet business objectives.

Promote Data Stewardship and Insight Generation:Support the process of implementing data governance and stewardship protocols to ensure data quality, accuracy, and accessibility.Design and deliver dashboards, reports, and visualizations that transform complex data into actionable insights for informing broader business strategies.Identify Opportunities for Analytics and Automation:Conduct regular assessments to identify and prioritize processes suitable for automation using AI and machine learning.Create an automation roadmap with clear priorities, objectives, and timelines to streamline People & Organization operationsConduct regular assessments to identify and prioritize opportunities to promote employee experiences throughout the employment life cycle.Enhance Data Analytics Capabilities:Leverage exploratory data analysis, advanced statistical methods, machine learning, and AI to uncover trends and patterns in People & Organization data.Develop predictive models to inform talent management, workforce planning, and employee engagement strategies.Align Key Metrics with Business Goals:Support the maintenance of a data dictionary for consistent performance assessment across the organization.Facilitate alignment of metrics with overall business objectives to ensure comprehensive organizational insights.Define and Translate Reporting Requirements:Lead workshops and interviews to capture detailed business needs, translating these into technical specifications for data products.Develop frameworks to ensure continuous feedback loops from stakeholders for refining data solutions.Enhance Data Visualization and Communication:Create visually engaging and interactive dashboards tailored to various stakeholder needs, using tools like Python, SAC, Power BI, or similar.Collaborate with IT and Development Teams:Partner with IT to ensure technological infrastructure aligns with evolving business intelligence and reporting requirements.Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams to enhance data integration and system interoperability.Ensure Data Security and Privacy:Establish robust security protocols and privacy measures to protect sensitive People & Organization data, in compliance with legal and organizational standards.Regularly audit data practices to identify and mitigate risks.Champion Professional Development and User Engagement:Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies through continuous learning and professional development.Implement and lead training programs to foster high engagement and utilization of data analytics tools by all users.Encourage Innovation and Continuous Improvement:Develop a culture of innovation by encouraging experimentation with new data technologies and methodologies.Propose and pilot new data-driven initiatives that address emerging business challenges and opportunities.Drive a Data-Driven Culture:Advocate for data-driven decision-making in the organization at large.Serve as a resource and mentor for other team members in adopting data science best practices and tools.

 

QualificationsBSc Computer Science degree or an equivalent qualification. A qualification in Data Science and/or Data Analytics.

Experience

5 Years of experience in Data Science, Analytics and Reporting.

Technical Knowledge

Data Exploration and AnalysisProgramming and Data VisualizationAI and Machine LearningTechnical Troubleshooting and Business AcumenDatabase and Query LanguagesSkilled in understanding business requirements, troubleshooting technical issues, and recommending enhancements for system processes.Understanding and experience of People & Organization domain (advantageous)
