Position: Senior Specialist, SHE&S (Safety, Health, Environment & Security)

Location: Zhangjiagang, China

 

Optimize regional Purchasing/Supply chain processes and contracts to source 3rd - party materials with best cost, quality, and service. Lead cross - functional teams in formulating and implementing a regional sourcing strategy for maximum cost savings. Ensure contracts are implemented for high compliance and keep improving supplier performance. Develop a professional approach and ensure advanced Purchasing capabilities are properly used in the spending area.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

 

Support in maintaining SHE&S Master Plan, arranging activities, and updating training materials for all site personnel.Keep abreast of SHE&S laws, regulations, and standards via government and 3rd - party platforms, and communicate to site management.Support global process safety initiatives, coordinate audits, and follow up on findings.Conduct daily site SHE&S inspections, especially for high - risk activities in GB30871 - 2022.Plan and organize SHE&S activities for a strong SHE&S culture, and oversee site security management.Liaise with firefighting service providers, monitor incident reporting, and complete other tasks assigned by the SHE&S manager.

You Bring

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Safety Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related fields.Certified Safety Engineer, with expertise in hazardous chemical safety management.Minimum 5 years of SHE&S experience in the chemical industry, including at least 3 years in a multinational corporation setting.Proficiency in GB30871, and other national safety standards; expertise in ISO management systems and SHE&S digital tools.Strong English reading and writing skills; no requirement in listening and speaking.
