Position Summary
The Senior Specialist, Learning Development and Delivery is responsible for facilitating both instructor-led training (ILT) and virtual instructor-led training (vILT), evaluating courses, and managing training delivery and administration processes to align business objectives with learning-related strategies and solutions.
Demonstrates knowledge of adult learning theories and best practicesDemonstrates knowledge and effective use of presentation/facilitation tools, techniques, materials, etc.Ability to lead virtual and in-person training sessionsPossesses knowledge of and experience in using training system technologies and classroom toolsAdapts classroom management/teaching techniques 'on the fly' to a wide variety of classroom situationsUses effective questioning and probing skills to adapt and modify deliveryProvides feedback to class participants and business leadersProvides feedback on course design and content to Learning Business Partners (LBP) and/or Instructional Design & Development (IDD) teamAccountabilities
Facilitate training courses across the academy in alignment with strategic business needs.Partner with Learning Business Partner and Instructional Design and Development HUB resources to execute business initiatives and ensure accurate content is available for and delivered in training courses.Leverage Learning Technology strategy to support the business, reinforce training and close employee’s performance gapsParticipate in strategic learning projects that align with Business initiativeProvide Attendance, Training Plans, Training Reports and other insights from training coursesQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred2+ years’ experience in related field preferredStrong knowledge of adult learning theories and best practices preferredExperience with virtual delivery applications such as Zoom and MS TeamsExperience in working in business systems such as RGH, OIT and ICON, preferredStrong understanding of at-Home Solutions Edgepark products, processes and functions, preferredStrong oral, written, interpersonal and presentation skillsStrong work ethicFor Internal Applicants: open only to B4, P1, and P2.
