The Position
We are looking for an experienced Senior Specialist in Visual and Augmented Analytics to lead strategic analytics initiatives aligned with our forward-looking vision for modern, AI-enabled analytics over the next 5 years. This role combines deep technical expertise in business intelligence platforms with a visionary mindset to drive the evolution of next-generation analytics—spanning embedded insights, governed self-service, real-time decision support, and AI-powered intelligence. The ideal candidate will guide platform strategy, mentor global teams, and champion innovation in a fast-paced, highly regulated pharma and life sciences environment.
What will you do?
Lead the architecture, strategy, and delivery of Visual & Augmented Analytics product at Our Company.Define and execute the Analytics technology roadmap focused on Semantic Layer, personalized & embedded insights, real-time analytics, and GenAI integration.Drive best practices in data visualization, governance, report cataloging, data lineage, and insight reusability.Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineers, product managers, and stakeholders across geographies to align technology and business goals.Champion self-service analytics enablement, design reusable KPI libraries, and ensure seamless insight consumption across channels.Serve as mentor and technical thought leader for BI developers and data engineers.Oversee end-to-end delivery of multi-platform analytics products.Lead innovation efforts involving AI/ML-driven insights, agent-based orchestration, and telemetry-enabled BI optimization.Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required
Master’s degree in computer science, data engineering, or a related field10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Product architecture rolesProven track record of driving strategic data & insights initiatives in complex, regulated industries (preferably pharma or life sciences)Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to quicky establish credibility and trust with a variety of stakeholdersGood interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)Proven track record of leading strategic data initiatives, not just executionProduct and customer-centric approachInnovative thinking, experimental mindsetHands-on expertise with BI platforms such as Power BI, ThoughtSpot, and Qlik, including modeling, security, and publishing workflowsFamiliarity with agent frameworks, GenAI orchestration, and prompt engineering for BI use casesDemonstrated product and customer-centric mindset, with strong storytelling capabilities around data value realizationExperience with agent orchestration, stream analytics, or real-time ingestion, semantic layers concept, BI metadata modelling, or reusable KPI librariesNice to have
Experience with GenAI/ML platforms such as Dataiku, Databricks, Amazon Bedrock, or similarExposure to Conversational BI or natural language querying via ThoughtSpot or Power BI CopilotStrong understanding of pharma regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GxP, GDPR) and secure data handling practicesExperience with BI observability, telemetry, and performance tuning for large user basesFamiliarity with multi-tenant SaaS architectures and API-based analytics integrationKnowledge of automation and scripting for BI/cloud operations (e.g., PowerShell, Python)Certifications in AWS, Azure, or other cloud platformsAgile or Product Management certifications (Scrum, SAFe)Experience in launching, scaling, or governing enterprise analytics productsWhat we offer
