Data Analysis & Reporting:
Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data, market trends, customer purchasing patterns, and competitor activities within the aftermarket parts sector across IMG markets. (focus on assigned markets) Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to parts wholesale sales, profitability, and market share. Identify variances, anomalies, and opportunities within sales data, translating complex findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for the Parts Wholesale Manager and regional teams. Utilize advanced analytical techniques to forecast sales trends, model potential business scenarios, and evaluate the effectiveness of sales programs and incentives.Aftermarket Business & Commodity Product Expertise:
Specialize in understanding the dynamics of commodity aftermarket products (e.g., batteries, brakes, filters, engine oils), including pricing strategies, competitive landscape, supply chain considerations, and customer demand drivers. Provide expert insights into market sizing, segmentation, and growth potential for various parts categories within the IMG region. Monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes impacting the aftermarket parts business.Multi-Make Product Strategy Support:
Actively support the Parts Wholesale Manager in the conceptualization, development, and execution of multi-make product strategies, from initial market assessment to launch and ongoing performance monitoring. Analyze potential multi-make product opportunities, evaluating market demand, competitive positioning, and financial viability. Collaborate with product development, supply chain, and market teams to ensure seamless integration and successful rollout of multi-make parts programs. Track the performance of multi-make parts sales, identifying areas for improvement and recommending strategic adjustments.Strategic Insights & Recommendations:
Proactively identify emerging market opportunities and potential challenges, providing strategic recommendations to optimize parts sales and market penetration. Support the development of regional sales targets and strategic plans by providing data-backed insights and analytical support Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of various route-to-market strategies and proposing enhancements based on data analysis.Program & Incentive Evaluation:
Measure the impact and return on investment (ROI) of sales programs, marketing campaigns, and incentive structures designed to drive parts wholesale sales. Provide analytical support for the design and refinement of incentive programs for dealers, distributors, and other channel partners.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams including product development, logistics, markets, markets feet on the street and finance to ensure alignment and support for aftermarket parts initiatives. Present findings and recommendations to various stakeholders, adapting communication style to different audiences.Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related quantitative field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications in data science/analytics are highly preferred.Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an analytical role, preferably within the automotive aftermarket industry with complex data sets. Proven experience in data modeling, statistical analysis, and developing actionable business insights. Demonstrated understanding of the automotive aftermarket business, with specific knowledge of commodity parts (e.g., batteries, brakes, filters, lubricants). Experience supporting multi-make product strategies or similar portfolio expansion initiatives is a significant advantage.Skills:
Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, VBA), SQL, Python, or R. Strong experience with business intelligence (BI) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense). Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate raw data into strategic recommendations. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders. Strong understanding of sales processes, distribution channels, and market dynamics within a wholesale environment. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, regional environment. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. Self-motivated with very good attitude Fluency in English is required; additional language proficiency relevant to IMG markets is a plus.(Please refer to JD above)
