Located in Dublin, Cruiserath Biologics Campus, a one billion Multi-Product Cell Culture Biologics Manufacturing facility plays a central role in the Global Product Development and Supply (GPS) network as the company’s first European biologics manufacturing facility. This state of the art facility will produce multiple therapies for the company’s growing biologics portfolio. Global Biologics Laboratory (GBL) responsible for the release testing of Biologics Drug product for the network, is also based on the Cruiserath Biologics Campus.

The Role
BMS Cruiserath Biologics is seeking to recruit a permanent Senior Specialist, Engineering Planner who will execute scheduling and planning of all GMP maintenance activities. Reporting to the Manager, Lead Engineering Planner, the Senior Specialist, Engineering Planner will play a critical role within the GMP Reliability team in delivering a best in class maintenance and reliability programme to ensure equipment uptime is maximised for manufacturing of medicines for our patients.
Key responsibilities will include:
Prioritising safety in work planning – identify risks associated with any tasks and putting in place mitigations as required.Development of daily, weekly, monthly Maintenance/Calibration plans &scheduling/Assignment of all GMP maintenance activities through CMMS systemDaily scheduling and assignment of activities to tie in with overall Manufacturing schedule and priorities, with a Right First Time mindset.Working closely with the wider Reliability team, including Technicians and Engineers to develop the current planning strategies for optimum use of downtime windows and resources.Creating of reporting tools through CMMS and other analytical software to demonstrate planning performance (planned vrs actual, schedule adherence etc) Other Performance indicators will track accuracy of maintenance plans, job plans, resourcing and maintenance spare part analysis.Develop and publish Team metrics/KPI's using data analysis reports and monthly management reports to demonstrate team performance and continuous improvements.Ensure all vendor SLAs in place and up to dateCo-ordination with other functional groups to ensure resources in place for activities. Attend site planning meetings for alignment of schedule with cross functional groups and report back as required.Ensuring external resources available for activities as requiredAssess incoming Work Orders prioritise work accordingly.Follow up on completed work to ensure work orders are closedEnsures correct permits in place for activities and external contractorsAssist in continuous improvement of Job plans, schedules and SOPs to ensure activities optimisedCo-ordination with stores Dept. to ensure spare parts available for all planned workDevelop and improve transition of information for right first time maintenance and handover for a self-managed teamEnsure infrastructure and equipment in place to execute work through OPEX approachDeliver ongoing Continuous improvement to plant and processes for high performing team.Working with Senior Leaders on evaluating High Level Schedule (HLS) changes and forecasting impact of major maintenance works.Manage Contingent Worker resources executing planning and scheduling of maintenance activities in Clean Utilities and detailed day to day task in Upstream/Downstream suites.Manage on site scaffolding team.Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements include:
The successful candidate would ideally possess at minimum a Level 7 Engineering Related qualification. Level 8 is desirable.3 years’ experience in similar industry with some exposure to maintenance / engineering planning and LOTO.CMMS experience in Maximo, SAP or similar.Strong communications, organizational and analytical skills, use of Spotfire an advantage.Strong understanding of standard software applications, MS Excel, Sharepoint.Ability to work independently and also as part of a team.Flexible and amenable to change with ability to work independently and remotely when required.Why should you apply?
