We are now looking for Senior Spare Parts Engineer to join our Technical Information (TI) Parts Data Lifecycle Management (PDLM) team.

 

We PDLM are fourteen colleagues belonging to this team and we give product data lifecycle support for the products that are our responsibility of TI Finland. Ti is a global organisation with totally 138 team members, of which 82 in Finland.

 

The location for this position is in Vaasa or Turku, Finland, or Trieste, Italy.

 

We have an amazing team and a clear purpose to exist. We are passionate about the work; we do and hope to find a Senior Spare Parts Engineer with a shared passion to support Wärtsilä spare parts business.

 

 

About the position

 

In this position your work will include spare parts identification and product data maintenance. This is mainly done with Product Data Management (PDM) Bill of Materials (BOM) and SAP. The product range we support is increasing due the fast digitalization, new alternative fuels and power output solutions.

 

You will not be working on this alone. Even though the work requires high level of independency; you will get support from your colleagues.

 

To be best match for us, we expect you have understanding in product BOM’s, technical drawings and experience of working with SAP and office tools, especially excel.

 

As an ideal candidate, you have gained understanding from Wärtsilä’s products and have degree in engineering. For you to succeed in this position, we hope you have problem solving skills, willingness to take initiatives and learn new.

 

In this role, fluent written and spoken English is essential due to our communication language within Wärtsilä family.
