About the Role:
Design and implement the sourcing and procurement strategies and strategic sourcing arrangements with preferred suppliers. Execute supplier selection metrics and develop deep understanding of Line of Businesses. Identify opportunities to reduce total cost of ownership and assess market conditions. Coordinate efforts of cross-regional and cross-segment teams. Lead cross-segment sourcing projects.
The Enterprise Sourcing Media Team collaborates with Media professionals across the Walt Disney Company to enhance the value of our media investments by assessing opportunities, staying abreast of industry trends, creatively crafting deals that deliver value across the enterprise, and improving the way we do business with our partners. The media sourcing team collaborates with media leads across all lines of business, focusing on sourcing opportunities with digital and traditional media buys and publishers, media agencies, and media buying technologies.
What you will do:
The senior sourcing specialist will develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to align with the goals and objectives of Disney. This includes identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. They will be responsible for identifying potential suppliers by conducting in-depths analyses and selected the best-suited supplier. This position will be responsible for identifying opportunities within the media category, particularly in the area of digital media. This person will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to develop a high-level understanding of the capabilities and limits of the technologies we employ, including DSPs, SSPs, DMP, Data providers and Inventory suppliers.
It is the responsibility of the senior sourcing specialist to lead complex negotiations with partners and build / maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. They will monitor and report on supplier performance against key metrics and identify areas of improvement.
The senior sourcing specialist will identify areas of continuous improvement to help drive cost savings and efficiency.

3+ Years of hands-on programmatic advertising experience either at a media agency, in-house media team, or programmatic digital supplier, supporting multiple complex clients, including direct execution within DSP and/or SSP platforms.Experience with DV360 and additional programmatic buying platforms, including The Trade Desk and Amazon preferred.Ability to clearly communicate, including excellent verbal and presentation skills.Strong stakeholder engagement skillsStrong understanding of the digital media landscape and evolving marketplace trends.Resourceful, effective at managing tasks and projects independentlyBuilds strong working relationships across lines of business and leadership levels.Strong research and analytical skills, advanced Excel skillsAbility to analyze data and summarize key points.Deep understanding of end-to-end procurement acumenPreferred Qualifications:
CPM, CIRM, CPIM, or similar certifications preferred.Required Education

The hiring range for this position in California is $103,400.00 - $126,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
