Senior Solutions Architect
Summary **Position contingent on contract award. Chenega Services & Federal Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for an exceptional Senior Solutions Architect with extensive experience supporting large agency-level enterprise IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic advisor to our customer's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), providing expert guidance on leading-edge technologies, best practices, and transformational initiatives across the enterprise IT landscape. This position will require the candidate to work in Washington D.C. up to 5 days a week, though it is considered "hybrid." Responsibilities Partner with senior officials and deputy personnel to develop and implement comprehensive enterprise IT strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives Architect scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise solutionsthat leverage modern technologies and methodologies Lead technical governance initiatives to ensure alignment, standardization, and optimization across the enterprise Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement Develop reference architectures and technical roadmaps to guide the organization's digital transformation journey Evaluate and recommend appropriate technology solutionsto address complex business challenges Mentor and guide technical teams in the implementation of enterprise solutions Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into understandable terms Identify and mitigate technical risks across the enterprise IT portfolio Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Master's degree preferred 15-20 years of progressive experience in enterprise IT architecture and solutions design Demonstrated experience advising C-level executives and senior government officials Comprehensive knowledge across multiple domains: Enterprise IT Governance and Strategy Cybersecurity and Zero Trust Architecture Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, GCP) Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Enterprise Networking and Infrastructure Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP) Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Experience leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives Strong understanding of federal IT policies, regulations, and compliance requirements Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to influence and drive consensus among diverse stakeholder groups Experience working with federal agencies or large public sector organizations preferred Preferred Relevant certifications (TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP, CISSP, ITIL, PMP) Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools preferred Knowledge of emerging technologies such as quantum computing, blockchain, or edge computing preferred Experience with IT portfolio management and capital planning preferred Background in enterprise architecture frameworks (FEAF, DoDAF, etc.) preferred Final salary determination based on skill-set, qualifications, and approved funding.
