The senior software development technical lead will drive software application development, ensure timely quality delivery and build client relationships while improving client trust in our partnership. You will be the single point of technical contact responsible for technical expertise and rapidly growing business scope, contributing to business transformation to achieve high client satisfaction. The Senior software technical lead needs to work with all team members across geographies, client stakeholders and cross functional teams while ensuring timely delivery while meeting quality expectations.

Your role

Lead scrum teams the desktop to cloud migration of a legacy monolithic application from C /MFC/WinForms to web-based solution leveraging Angular JS C#, .NETStage gate design control experience in highly regulated development and manufacturing environmentsResponsible for delivery and coordination of work products from multiple nearshore/offshore scrum teams for integration with the client’s development workstreamCollaborate with subject matter experts as well as product focused cross-functional teams to leverage and disseminate information (product requirement) to Capgemini scrum teamsBuild client relationships – walk the floor (at client office) and gain client trustLead architectural and design reviews with client stakeholders and provide inputs on the product roadmapExpand business scope and contribute to business transformation with high client satisfactionOrganization development: recruitment, knowledge building, mentoring, and retentionConduct code and design reviews with the nearshore/offshore team leadsEffective program operation: status reporting, risk identification and mitigation, client and internal review meetings, taking the relationship to the next level of partnership

Your skills and experience

8 years of proven experience in the software engineering industry to lead and drive projectsTechnical experience in software application development for medical devices using Angular JS and Microsoft Technologies (C#, .NET, Microservices, DevOps) is critical for successStrong hands-on working experience in delivery (e.g., software development, software verification, DevOps, systems engineering) to ensure timely quality delivery of a distributed team is requiredTeam management experience is required, e.g., managing a team of 8-10 engineers across geographiesExcellent client interaction and engagement skills are requiredTeam building work experience, e.g., working with talent acquisition teams, recruitment, knowledge building, and retention, are critical skill areasAbility to identify and mitigate risk and conflictExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsBachelor's degree in a computer science or engineering field with experience in product research, design, and developmentMaster’s degree is preferredChromatography (Liquid Chromatography/ Mass Spectrometry instrument control) experience is desiredExperience working in a Life Science regulated environment is desired
