Senior Software Service Engineer
Responsibilities Make an impact As a Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d), you implement components for standard software frameworks and solutions either alone or in a small team. Our robotics solution and all the topics surrounding it are in your daily focus.  You will work hybrid from our office in Zaltbommel as well as from your home office.  You are responsible for the implementation of functional requirements from the functional specification into software design, code and validation according to the defined test cases.  Another task is the guidance and coordination of a team of software engineers and the support of less experienced team members. Your field of work also includes implementing, following and promoting agile methods in software development. Ensuring compliance with all relevant instructions and standards of the Swisslog quality management system is a personal concern of yours.  You will work with Solution and Product Management on Customer Software Solutions. Your tasks and responsibilities will be rounded off by supporting other units within Swisslog in the realisation of projects by providing cost-efficient solutions. Application Requirements What you need to succeed You have a Master's in Engineering (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar) and several years of experience within software development.   Your expertise in Java EE/SpringBoot or Python-driven AI will be instrumental. In addition you also have a deep understanding of CDI, JMS, EJB, JAX-RS, JAX-WS or compatible technologies. You are passionate about software development with a collaborative spirit. In addition, you care deeply about the end-user experience and take pride in building solutions that meet customer needs. Furthermore, you have in-depth knowledge of application integration and UI design. You embrace new challenges and drive innovative solutions. You maintain focus and dedication to achieving exceptional results.  You have a passion for learning and embrace the unknown.
