We are seeking a Solutions Engineer who has experience building integrations to join our team today.
Responsibilities
Involved with all aspects of software development, working to create and maintain the most reliable, secure, performant and high throughput service for our customers by building integration solutions using our cutting-edge, cloud and edge technologies.
Engage with our customer adoption specialists and other stakeholders to identify customer integration needs and turn high level requirements into productised solutions.
Contribute to solution design and architecture by leveraging design patterns and injecting your expertise into the entire development lifecycle.
Contribute to improvements in processes and deliverables that increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the team in responding to customer and business needs.
Document and present your ideas and solutions accurately and thoroughly.
Minimum Qualifications
BS or MS in computer science, related technology field, or equivalent experience
You have 5 years of hands-on experience with application development and/or building integration solutions.
Experience with JavaScript in Node.js and web browser environment
Experience with GIT or equivalent version control system
Experience interfacing with APIs (REST, GraphQL)
In depth understanding of the entire software development lifecycle
Experience with Agile development practices such as Scrum or Kanban
Detail oriented approach to building secure, stable, software
Strong written and oral communication skills in English
Ability to operate effectively and independently in a dynamic, fluid environment
Understanding of basic networking concepts
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with associated tools such as Postman, IDEs (e.g. Visual Studio Code)
Unit testing, end-to-end testing, and test-driven development experience
Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and a deployment pipeline such as Jenkins.
Containerisation experience
Cyber security and secure coding principles
Experience in MQTT a bonus.
How You’d Spend Your Day
You will be part of an agile product team of smart and highly motivated engineers building integration solutions and associated components.
You’ll be communicating requirements to our integration plugin development team.
You will work in a global team and collaborate with local and remote colleagues from various disciplines like business, engineering, operations, support etc.
