We are looking for a **Senior C++ Software Engineer Innovation** who is eager to work on cutting-edge, highly complex software challenges that require the use of advanced C++ together with technologies like WebGPU, DICOMweb and WebAssembly. You will be part of a small and skilled, multidisciplinary innovation team that builds new solutions for clinical challenges, and where you have the chance to shape the future of clinical interventions and improve patients’ lives. **Your role:** + Together with peers, build the back-end of a cloud-based, performance-critical architecture; making it ready for the next wave of AI-based clinical applications + Take role of tech lead towards the wider project team, setting technical direction & coaching more junior team members on technical challenges they may face + Drive practical solutions that work in a highly diverse, fragmented landscape of different hospital environments **You’re the right fit if:** **Minimum Required Qualifications** **Education** Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent. **Work Experience** Minimum 5 years of experience with Bachelor's OR Minimum 3 years of experience with Master's in areas such as Software Development, Software Design and Architecture, Testing and Quality Assurance or equivalent. **Preferred Qualifications** + You have recent and advanced C++ experience, actively developing advanced software using modern C++ for at least five years + Experience with the DICOM data format is a plus + Experience with WebGPU and WebAssembly is a plus + Experience with cloud technologies like Kubernetes, AWS, combined with low latency applications is a plus. + Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus. **About Philips** We are a health technology company.
