We are seeking experienced engineer with strong technical versatility and a proven ability to work across a wide range of systems and tools. This role is part of a highly technical support team, responsible for maintaining and improving production environments, deploying open-source tools, developing automation, and ensuring system reliability

Accountabilities:

1. System Reliability & Support

Provide hands-on technical support for systems and applications during US Eastern Time hours.Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and performance tuning to ensure system uptime and reliability.

2. Automation & Scripting

Develop and maintain automation scripts using languages like Python, Perl, PHP, or JavaScript to streamline operations and reduce manual work.

3. Infrastructure & Cloud Management

Manage and support cloud environments and infrastructure services.Administer Linux-based systems, Java services, and Apache web servers.

4. CI/CD & DevOps Tooling

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub, JFrog, and Maven.Ensure smooth and secure software delivery processes.

5. Database Development & Support

Develop and support applications using MySQL and SQL, ensuring data integrity and performance.

6. Security & Monitoring Implement security best practices in development and operations.

Use monitoring and network troubleshooting tools to proactively identify and resolve issues.

7. Collaboration & Documentation

Contribute to internal documentation and knowledge sharing.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to system design and strategic planning.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree holder. (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant courses)5+ years of relevant experienceExperience in a technical support, SRE, or DevOps engineering roleProficiency in scripting languages (Python, Perl, HTML, PHP, JavaScript)Strong database skills (MySQL, SQL)Familiarity with open-source deployment and cloud technologiesExperience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (GitHub, JFrog, Maven, etc.)Solid understanding of Linux systems, Java environments, and web services (Apache)Exposure to security concepts and secure coding practicesFamiliarity with network diagnostic and troubleshooting toolsStrong verbal and written communication skillsActive GitHub profile and contributions to open source projectsAbility to lead technical initiativesExperience participating in on-call rotations or incident managementAbility to guide junior team membersSolid linux background, Perl, C#, PythonAzure – databases, app servicesMicrosoft Power Automate
