About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Python, ArtificialIntelligence, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI Agents. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure AI services, LangChain, and building complex, production-grade AI applications that leverage modern AI tooling and cloud infrastructure. You will work alongside data scientists, product managers, and other engineers to design, develop, and deploy intelligent applications at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and deploy scalable AI applications using LLMs, LangChain, and agent-based frameworks.Develop robust and reusable backend systems in Python, with a strong emphasis on AI integration.Architect AI pipelines leveraging Azure AI services such as Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, and Machine Learning Studio.Build and manage intelligent agents capable of autonomous task execution and multi-step reasoning.Optimize LLM performance through fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).Collaborate cross-functionally to define system architecture and data pipelines for AI-driven products.Maintain best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, and documentation.

Stay up-to-date with emerging AI/ML trends, tools, and frameworks, contributing to strategic AI direction.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in Engineering, Software Engineering or similar field OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 7 years of experience in Engineering, Software Engineering or related field

Experience in Engineering, Software Engineering or similar field

Experience writing code for moderately complex applications

Experience with programming languages for online applications, microservices or mobile applications

Experience designing/building moderately complex applications/automation

Experience writing automation test or deployment scripts

Experience creating coding/scripting solutions to fix moderately complex problems

Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems

At least 1 year of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership.

Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong background in Python.Proven experience working with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI GPT, Claude, Mistral, or similar).Deep expertise with LangChain and AI Agent design patterns.Hands-on experience with Azure AI, including Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Search, or ML services.Experience developing or integrating with AI agents, autonomous workflows, and orchestration tools.Strong understanding of prompt engineering, vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone), and retrieval pipelines.Solid knowledge of software architecture, REST APIs, and scalable backend systems.Experience with DevOps tools, version control (Git), and agile development processes.Experience with Vector Databases, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), or hybrid search.Familiarity with tools like Weaviate, Pinecone, ChromaDB, or Qdrant.Background in deploying AI models to production, including performance monitoring and feedback loops.
