Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack (Java Backend & Angular or React)

Overview:

Mastercard’s Network & Digital Payments group creates valued experiences for consumers, and enables merchants and issuers to reach consumers in ways not possible in the pre-digital world. The global product engineering team is responsible for development of a suite of foundational payment solutions. This an opportunity to be a part of a highly motivated team focused on bringing security, convenience and control to digital payments.

All About You
•\tOverall 6-9 years of career experience into Full Stack Development

•\tStrong proficiency in Java and Spring boot framework

•\tExperience on Angular or React a must

•\tExperience designing and developing microservices

•\tExperience with PCF or other cloud platforms

•\tSolid understanding of front-end development principles and experience with Angular/React frameworks

•\tProficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery

•\tExperience with relational databases such as Oracle or PostGreSQL. Well versed with writing efficient and optimised queries

•\tExperience with Restful API design and development

•\tExperience leveraging or developing solutions using Information Security-related concepts: Cryptography – X.509, public key cryptography standards, JWT, hashing, digital signatures

•\tExperience with testing frameworks and methodologies

•\tAbility to work independently and as part of a team

Good to have

•\tExperience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
•\tExperience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
•\tContributions to open source projects

As a senior engineer, you will –

•\tDesign, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
•\tDeploy and manage applications on PCF.
•\tDevelop engaging and responsive user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
•\tParticipate in PoCs (Proof of Concept) and help the department with
selection of vendor solutions, technologies, methodologies and frameworks.
•\tWrite clean, well-documented, and testable code.
•\tCollaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality products.
•\tParticipate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development processes.
•\tTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
•\tEnsure adequate test coverage in Unit Testing, System Testing/Integration Testing and Performance Testing.
•\tContribute to the architecture and design of our systems.
•\tMentor junior engineers and share your expertise.
•\tWork in an agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
