**Role Summary**
Splunk AppDynamics, a leader in observability solutions for both cloud and on-premises environments, empowers customers with end-to-end visibility across their entire application ecosystems, cloud, on-premises, or hybrid. Our team is dedicated to developing, maintaining, and supporting SaaS and on-premises offerings within the observability product suite.
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build upon our application and data platform as we continue to innovate on application observability. We move fast and iterate quickly. **What you'll get to do**
• Create intuitive user interfaces and visualizations for complex data and workflows.
• Design and build features to enhance user experience, Develop reusable components for the next-generation UI platform.
• Design tools to visualize and handle large datasets effectively.
• Ensure robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for proactive issue detection and resolution.
• Support CI/CD processes and automate testing for data systems
• Stay abreast of emerging trends in big data, machine learning, and distributed systems to recommend innovative solutions.
• Work with a team of exceptionally capable and dedicated peers, all the way from engineering to product management and customer support
• Work in an open environment, work together to get things done and adapt to the team's changing needs
**Must-have Qualifications**
• 8+ years of full-stack developer experience in designing and developing highly scalable, distributed applications, products, and services.
• Strong expertise in modern TypeScript and JavaScript frameworks, especially Angular
• Proven experience in building complex solutions with a focus on customer-centric design and great UX. Experience in front end tech - CSS, HTML, Web sockets.
• Skilled in Java programming language.
• Skilled in developing and maintaining large Single Page Applications (SPAs)
• Experience working with or building unified UI libraries
• Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing requirements, scope, and priorities.
• Optimize data pipelines, storage systems, and query engines for performance and efficiency.
• Work closely with product teams, data engineers, software developers, and product managers to deliver on business goals.
• Mentor team members in architecture principles, coding best practices, and system design.

• Knowledge/working experience on or React.
• Understanding of containers and Kubernetes is a bonus.
• Added advantage of having an experience in working on Cloud Observability Space.
