Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Be responsible for defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructureProvide technical leadership to an agile team of 5-7Work with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to understand product requirements & visionTranslate requirements / vision into prioritized list of user stories and deliver to required timelines and quality standardsWork with product line leaders and architects to develop multi generation software technology plansDrive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuseSupport process improvements which guide the development, sustaining & support activitiesWork cross functionally with other business departments to align activities and deliverablesDrive world-class quality in the development and support of productsEnsure team receives consistent messages and has clear understanding of business direction, strategy and resultsEngage subject matter experts in successful transfer of complex domain knowledgeApply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing TechniquesWrite code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the projectUnderstand performance parameters and assess application performanceWork on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using technology chosenProactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness

Education Qualification

Honors Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience.

Required Technical Expertise:

Experience with Windows and Unix / Linux based programmingExperience with front-end technologies such as Javascript, HTML5, CSS, AngularJS, BackboneJS, EmberJS, KnockoutJSExperience with developing software solutions and products using C++, C++/CLI, C#, Python and JavaExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Minikube, Helm charts, YamlExperience with developing, deploying and maintaining cloud hosted applications and solutions on AWS PKS and/or EC2.Experience with designing and developing database backends using advanced database schemas using SQL Server and PostgreSQLExperience with modern tooling (Gradle, Maven, Git, SVN)Experienced with Agile development methodologies, specifically Scrum.Experienced with modern CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Artifactory) and implementing CI/CD pipelinesExperienced in developing secure REST APIsExperienced in implementing security using OAuth 2.0Experienced in delivering software solutions in the Industrial domain
