8+ years of software engineering experienceDemonstrated success in platform modernization initiatives using technologies such as REST, microservices, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), Java, NodeJS, and Spring BootMinimum 5 years of experience with TypeScript and Angular, Spring Boot, JavaScript (NodeJS, Angular), AWS cloud technologies, event-driven and micro-frontend architecture, microservices, and REST API designHands-on experience with layered systems architecture, design, and shared software conceptsExperience with functional and system integration testingExperience with CI/CD practices and DevOps principlesExperience working on agile teams/squadsProven ability to lead teams to successful outcomes through coaching and mentoringBachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experiencePreferred Experience

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
