Job Title: Sr Software Engineer Job Description This is an exciting opportunity for a Sr Software Engineer with expertise in software engineering, data engineering, or data science. The role requires a combination of technical proficiency and clearance eligibility to work on advanced projects in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities + Develop and maintain high-performance applications using Python and enterprise application development tools. + Design and implement web services architecture. + Participate in database design using PostgreSQL. + Utilize AWS tooling for cloud solutions. + Collaborate on frontend development using JavaScript frameworks such as React.js and TypeScript. Essential Skills + Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in software engineering, data engineering, or data science. + Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, React, ETL, and Angular. + Strong backend development skills in Python or Java. + Experience in frontend development using JavaScript, React, and TypeScript. + Database experience with SQL and AWS. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related disciplines. + Experience with large language models or data science tools like Numpy and R is a plus. Work Environment This position is located on-site at the NGA facility in Downtown St. Louis, MO. The role requires working in a collaborative and technologically advanced environment with state-of-the-art equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of St. Louis, Missouri. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $145000.00 - $155000.00/yr. 3 weeks PTO (4 weeks if needed), -40 hour balance of PTO available as well. 11 paid holidays, 5 of the 11 are floating that employees can work and bank as a PTO day down the road. 401k match up to 4% and vested immediately.
