Develop cutting-edge technologies to improve Xylem's software offering. Create and maintain UI and back-end oriented services utilized by the rest of our architecture. Bring to the job an excitement and work ethic on par for a startup technology firm. **List the essential functions and major activities in order of importance.** + Design and architect components + Windows application development (C#/.NET) in a team environment + Develop applications in a large-scale, high-performance environment + Ensure the quality of releases, including participating in peer code reviews. + Integrate internal software with third-party applications. + Support existing software in the organization. **Minimum professional and educational background desired** + BS in Computer Science or BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/Electronics & Communication or related fields or master's in science in Software or MCA. + 5+ years of experience in C# application development (WPF) and/or User Interface design (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/MS Blazor). + Experience using Microsoft Blazor is highly desirable. + Excellent communication skills. + Detail-oriented and organized. + Experience using Entity Framework, or similar object relational mapping tools. + Experience using SQL Server, or similar relational database management systems. + Experience and understanding of design patterns including MVVM. + Experience and understanding of unit testing. + Experience developing desktop applications + CI/CD (GIT/ Jira/ Bitbucket/ Jenkins) + Good to have .NET MAUI + Good to have ASP.NET MVC/Web API knowledge Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
