Senior Software Engineer, .net and Azure

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain cloud-native .NET applications in Azure, supporting Royal Mail’s customer-facing websites and backend services. You’ll work in Agile sprints, collaborating with engineers, BAs, POs, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain .NET applications using Azure PaaS.Ensure code quality, performance monitoring, and error handling.Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate across teams.Troubleshoot incidents and contribute to continuous improvement.Document code and processes for knowledge sharing.

 

What You’ll Bring:

Strong experience in .NET (C#, Web API, EF Core), Azure App Services, and DevOps.Solid understanding of REST APIs, secure coding practices, and unit testing.Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and modern development patterns.Desirable: Experience with Cosmos DB, Event Hub, Data Lake, and front-end frameworks.
