Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Quality Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in manual testing, automation, and API testing to join our growing team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of complex enterprise applications through end-to-end testing, automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful platforms with a focus on engineering excellence and delivery quality.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web, API, and integrated systems.Perform end-to-end functional testing, including database validations and downstream application checks.Develop, maintain, and run automation test suites using Selenium or equivalent tools.Own the QA process across multiple concurrent projects, from planning to post-production validation.Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and DevOps teams to align test efforts with business requirements.Conduct post-release audits to ensure functionality in live environments.Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation including plans, cases, data, and reports.Provide QA estimations and contribute to automation strategy and continuous improvements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.4 -8 years of hands-on experience in QA and Test Automation.Proficiency in:Automation tools: Selenium, TestNG, JUnit (Java or .NET/C#)API testing tools: Postman, SoapUI, REST AssuredDatabases: SQL, NoSQLExperience working in Agile development environments (Scrum/Kanban).Familiarity with test planning, execution, reporting, and defect lifecycle.Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure and containerized deployments (AKS) is a plus.Experience testing complex, integrated applications with multiple upstream/downstream components.
Bonus / Advantageous Skills (Not Mandatory)
Experience with test data management and database-level validation.Exposure to cloud-based test platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, SauceLabs).Knowledge of performance testing using tools like JMeter.Understanding of BDD/TDD practices using tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.Prior experience in the Insurance or Financial Services domain.
