Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks a Senior Software Engineer for its Johnston, RI location.
Duties: Develops a broad range of initiatives to support the DevOps platform. Works with engineering and architecture teams to product high quality DevOps technology solutions. Creates software designs, develops efficient implementations, and launches commercial products. Operates in a team environment to lead, build, and scale secure services and systems on cloud providers. Integrates automated security scanning into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring that all dependencies and libraries are scanned for vulnerabilities. Manages and secures artifact repositories, ensuring that all artifacts are properly stored, versioned, and access controlled.
Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, and three (3) years of experience in the role or in a related position. Full term of experience must include: Utilizing programming languages, including Angular, React, Vue, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Golang, and C; Utilizing DevOps tools, including Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory; Utilizing Terraform, Pulumi, and CDK on cloud providers, including AWS and GCP; Building automated processes using AWS SDK and CLI; Utilizing build tools and package managers for programming languages including Helm, Maven, and NPM; Utilizing Bash and Linux; Utilizing the CICD pipeline, including CircleCI and Jenkins; Tracing complex CI/CD scenarios and release and environment issues in a multi-component environment; Performing test automation, coverage reporting, quality gates, security scans, and environment promotions; and Utilizing data structure concepts, including linked lists, dictionaries, arrays, and custom object creation.
