The Remote Desktop Transport and Protocol team is part of the Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) organization, which was recently recognized as a leader in the inaugural Gartner Magic Quadrant™ for Desktop as a Service (DaaS). With strong momentum from customers transitioning from on-premises Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) to cloud-based solutions, Windows 365 and AVD have become a billion-dollar business and continue to experience rapid growth. This is a strategic Horizon 2 growth area within Microsoft’s Experiences and Devices (E+D) division.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of remote desktop streaming technologies. In this role, you will work on the core transport and protocol components that power Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365, contributing to performance, reliability, and innovation across platforms.
