We have an immediate opening for a Sr. Software Engineer at out aerospace location in Troy, Ohio. The primary focus of this role is development, integration, test, and maintenance of hardware/software as a part of on-site factory support of test systems to support product testing. In this role, you will develop applications, libraries, and instrument drivers using the software style, and integrated development environment specified by the organization. This individual may have responsibilities across multiple teams in the department.
This position provides the opportunity to contribute to multidiscipline engineering teams. Typical work involves the development of both engineering and production test equipment, environments, and systems. As such, you will contribute to the completion of all stages of test station product. You will be expected to act, either as a part of their team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test systems.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
Managing the complete software development processManaging the end-to-end life cycle for the production of connected toolsTrouble Shooting and guiding the analyzing, writing, building of connected toolsOverseeing the automated testing and providing feedback to product owners during the development processModifying and testing changes to previously developed toolsWork Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education and experience:
Degree in STEMHardware Development and Machine Control BackgroundLabView ExperienceDevelopment languages: Advanced/Master level of server-side programming languages including LabView, Python, SQL, Visual Basic, and C++Database and cache: Advanced/Master level with SQL Server and Alteryx caching mechanismsVisualization Tools: Visual Studio and TableauSAP ERP: Knowledge of transactional codesExperience with reading schematics.Experience with diagnostics and components testing.Experience supporting automated test stations or systems.Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be a US CitizenExempt Salary Range: $90K - $105K DOE
