Position Overview  

As a Senior Software Engineer within International, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to design and development within a collaborative team environment. Your role is key in helping our Engineering team weigh in on the design & direction of our initiatives, engage in collaborative discussion amongst the group on the most technically sound approach forward, contribute to our SDLC to deliver new capabilities, and coach & mentor junior team members. You’ll work side-by-side with Product Owners, Software Test Engineers, and Business Stakeholders, and be actively involved in an agile software development environment.

Responsibilities Understand customer needs and business goals.Often act as a technical lead for features or epics and complete features or epics where the approach is loosely defined and requires technical & design discovery prior to implementationAdvocate for best practices and a healthy balance of tech debt versus deliveryActively mentor/coach less-experienced team membersEnsure code is flexible, reusable, extensible performant, and high quality through feedback on code reviewsDecompose outcomes into solutions composed of multiple software components interacting with each otherUnderstand and consider technical dependenciesProvide feedback via decision-making frameworks for proposed changes from across the orgWork within the scope of a team and participate in driving cross-team collaborationFind innovative ways to increase the quality and velocity of your workDemonstrate a passion for writing quality softwareContribute to a shared code baseDemonstrate software quality through unit and integration test automationStrengthen your team by sharing your knowledge and interests with othersBuild relationships and communicate with various types and levels of stakeholders across the organizationAnalyze and spearhead improvements to the systems and software that are important to your teamManage risks, escalate priorities and help to resolve issues that could impact production qualityRequired Experience 5 years’ hands-on experience preferred with full-stack web development, with experience in Client-Side ProgrammingProven expertise with .NET 5+Experience developing highly interactive applicationsA firm grasp of object-oriented analysis and designPassion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient codeStrong knowledge of relational databasesMust be well versed with Systems Architecture and developer toolsExperience with unit testing and integration test automationMust be adaptable to change and have a willingness to learnMust commit to their role and take responsibility for their tasksMust be able to work effectively in an agile and team environmentMust be effective and creative in problem solvingRESTful API design and development Preferred Experience  Bachelor's degree in a computer science, engineering, technology related field or equivalent experienceExperience with product migration from data-center to cloud Experience with managing a large-scale SaaS production environment for availability, reliability, and resiliency Prior experience with Cloud Platforms Azure, GCP, or AWS (preferred) Experience with NoSQL databases Proven experience with React
