Position Details

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Function/Department: Technology Location: Hyderabad Employment Type: Full Time Reports To: NA Role Overview 

 Design, develop and implement ETL solutions using IICS -CDI to extract, transform and load data from various sources into data warehouse. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT frameworks, and best practices

 

Key Responsibilities

Minimum of 6 years of experience in ETL/ELT development using IICS-CDI (Cloud Data Integration), including experience with IICS Cloud Console and PowerCenter Designer Design, develop and implement ETL solutions using IICS -CDI to extract, transform and load data from various sources into data warehouse Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT frameworks, and best practices Solid experience with SQL and database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle etc. (Preferably Azure Synapse) and distributed file systems: HDFS , ADLS etc. Develop and maintain ETL mappings, workflows, and schedules using IICS – CDI (Cloud Data Integration) & other orchestration Tools. Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency by performing data validation, cleansing, and enrichment activities Monitor ETL jobs to ensure successful completion, identify and resolve errors and performance issues. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing ETL processes. Create and maintain SQL-based database objects, including tables, views, indexes, and triggers. & Write optimized queries and ensuring that the database performs efficiently Troubleshoot database performance issues and identifying solutions to improve performance Should be Familiar with data modeling and data integration techniques Be able to Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ETL development Good understanding of Informatica Cloud Secure Agents   Experience with version control tools such as Git and follow CICD practice.  Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail Ability to work independently and Support Team members in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with Agile development methodologies Preferred Certifications: Informatica Cloud Data and Application Integration R38, Professional Certification AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals DP-900: Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals DP-203: Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure

 

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Master’s degree preferred. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies Design, develop and implement ETL solutions using IICS -CDI to extract, transform and load data from various sources into data warehouse Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT frameworks, and best practices Solid experience with SQL and database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle etc. (Preferably Azure Synapse) and distributed file systems: HDFS , ADLS etc. Develop and maintain ETL mappings, workflows, and schedules using IICS – CDI (Cloud Data Integration) & other orchestration Tools.
