The Real Time Payments (RTP) Program at Mastercard is an integral part of the Core Network. RTP is designed to facilitate instantaneous money transfers, enabling individuals, businesses, and governments to send and receive funds in real time. We are looking for a passionate and innovative individual with proven experience in delivering technology and helping teams achieve success. Role • Build modern, responsive UIs with a focus on reusability and scalability. • Own frontend architecture and component design for key features. • Work closely with product managers and designers to turn wireframes and designs into working applications. • Maintain a high standard of code quality through best practices in modularity, readability, and maintainability. • Ensure performance and responsiveness across browsers and devices. • Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to knowledge sharing within the frontend team. • Stay up to date with the evolving React ecosystem and bring in improvements proactively. All About You • 6+ years of hands-on experience with ReactJS (Hooks, functional components). • Expert-level knowledge of Redux, including middleware like Redux Thunk or Redux Saga. • Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript and modern development patterns. • Proficient in component-level styling using CSS-in-JS libraries such as Styled Components or Emotion. • Experience integrating with REST APIs from the frontend. • HTML, CSS and Figma knowledge is must. • Skilled in using developer tools like Chrome DevTools, Webpack, Babel, esLint, Jest. • Experience with Git for version control. • Experience with React Native for mobile development, WebSockets, Progressive Web Apps (PWA), and frontend automation testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium) is a plus. • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience **Corporate Security Responsibility** All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must: + Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices; + Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed; + Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and + Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
