Job Purpose:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in contributing to the development, maintenance, and support of systems and processes within Cendyn. You will work closely with other team members to implement solutions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the effective functioning of applications or systems. Your role involves contributing to the overall success of projects, with a focus on delivering quality results in a collaborative environment.

Design and implement high-quality cutting-edge softwareOwn the complete lifecycle of a component/feature of our productContribute to overall engineering team efforts on cohesive architecture and designCommit to highest quality standards by delivering comprehensive unit tests along with production codeStrive for the best possible performance and responsiveness of servicesMonitor support tickets created by customers; Characterise the incidents, reproduce, diagnosis and analyse the root causeCollaborate with product, customer success, support and other engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of product roadmapRepresent Cendyn to customers and partners as needed

Job Requirements:

Required Education and Experience:

BS/MS or equivalent experience5-7 years’ experience delivering highly scalable, consumer facing SAAS applicationsProven Java developer with proficiency with Spring framework, Spring Boot and web services1+ years' experience in working with cloud native microservices based architectureHands on experience in architecting a highly scalable REST web services-based systemsDemonstrable expertise in OO design and implementationAbility to work in an agile team with an understanding of software development lifecycle (design, development, testing, CI/CD, etc.)2+ years with product companies in a various stage of growth and successStrong organisational, prioritisation and communication skills

Desired Skills

Cloud computing and distributed computingPrior experience working on microservices at scaleFamiliarity with ReactJS.Experience of using Containers (Docker) is a plusUnderstanding of Micro Services ArchitectureUnderstanding of software development lifecycle (design, development, testing, CI/CD, etc.)

Our Technology Stack: Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Oracle 11g, Coherence, Redis / Memcached, Elasticsearch

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday from 12 PM to 9 PM IST. This will provide healthy overlap between India team and US team and supporting both to ensure adequate collaboration. This role will be working in Hybrid Mode and will require at least 2 days’ work from office at Hyderabad or Gurugram
