Are you a creative game developer who thrives at the intersection of technology and play? We’re looking for a skilled developer to help shape the future of digital play within the LEGO® Play app.
**Core responsibilities**
+ **Development** : Design and develop engaging games and playful experiences within the LEGO® Playapp using modern web technologies like HTML5, **Phaser, PixiJS, Three.js** , or **Babylon.js** .
+ **Collaboration** : Collaborate across multiple teams and workhand-in-handwith designers, product managers, content creators, and other partners to deliver cohesive product experiences.
+ **Quality:** Build high-quality and performant solutions, upholding best practices in code quality, architecture, and maintainability.
+ **Ownership** : Drive features from idea to deployment, including prototyping, testing, and iterative improvement.
+ **Leadership:** Promote a culture of technical excellence by championing best practices in coding, architecture, documentation, and collaboration. Mentor and support teammembers, andhelp drive direction and strategy.

**Kids and Ecosystem Technology** is dedicated to building safe, fun, and innovative digital experiences for children. As part of the teams behind the **LEGO** ® **Play app** , you will contribute to creating playful and meaningful digital moments that extend the LEGO®experience beyond physical bricks. Your work will help us bring new types of games and interactivity to the LEGO®Play app, keeping it engaging, imaginative, and playful.
**Do you** **have** **what it takes?**
+ 5+ years of professional game development experience - ideally building web-based games or interactive experiences using libraries such as **Phaser, PixiJS, Three.js** , HTML5, or **Babylon.js** .
+ Strong proficiency in **JavaScript/TypeScript** , with an understanding of performance optimization for mobile browsers.
+ Demonstrated experience developing and shipping full game cycles — from concept and design through to launch and iteration.
+ Familiarity with version control systems such as **Git** and modern development workflows.
+ Strong collaboration skills with a history of working optimally across multi-disciplinary teams.
+ Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Passion for creating fabulous and meaningful digital experiences for kids.
Bonus skills:
+ Experience working with **React Native** and hybrid app development
+ Interestin game design, visual design, arts, or UX.
+ Experience with data-driven development and user testing in a product development context.
+ Experience with asset optimization and lightweight game performance techniques.
