Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience - 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team - Deep expertise in Ruby on Rails and RubyGems - Strong experience with RSpec and test-driven development - Proven track record with Active Record and complex data modeling - Experience building and scaling RESTful APIs, and familiarity with JSON:API specification. - Advanced knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows - Comprehensive knowledge of patterns such as MVC, Mocking, and Object Oriented Programming. - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with other teams such as product and design to deliver high-quality software on time and on target. - Continuously enjoy staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in software development. The base pay for this position ranges from $151,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market.
