You'll design secure, distributed systems to protect customer workloads across environments. As a Senior Software Architect you will be: + Leading the design of secure, scalable architecture for micro-segmentation systems + Working closely with engineers and product managers to translate vision into reality + Acting as the go-to expert for Zero Trust and micro-segmentation architecture + Guiding technical decisions that can't be solved with simple search + Supporting high-availability services with frequent release cycles + Ensuing top-tier customers gain continuous security value from our solutions **Do what you love** To be successful in this role you will: + Have a B.Sc in Computer Science or related field. + Bring 8+ years of experience in software development and R&D + Have experience designing architecture for distributed software systems + Build services within a microservices-based environment + Operate in both cloud and on-premise production systems + Work with Linux-based infrastructures and deployment environments **Work in a way that works for you** FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
