The Digitas culture is made up of fearless, inventive and generous Unicorns of all kinds. **Overview** **As a Senior Social Strategist** you’ll be the driving force behind creative, insight-led social strategies across both paid and organic social channels. You’ll track trends, actionable audience insights, and guide teams in developing standout, platform-specific content. With expertise across paid and organic social, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, champion the latest best practices, and ensure our work is always ahead of the curve. **Responsibilities** **Day-to-day, your role includes:** + Monitor social trends, audience behaviors and competitor activity to inform creative approaches. + Leverage social listening tools to uncover actionable cultural insights that strengthen creative briefings. + Creatively and proactively assist the brand’s and your Digitas team in the development of social strategies, playbooks, etc. + Facilitate seamless collaboration across account, project management, creative, and cross-agency strategy teams. + Identify, analyze issues, patterns, and trends in the client landscape and with brand agnostic digital trends + Create and ideate, every. single. day. + Evaluate and optimize creative concepts through platform-specific best practices and social-first thinking. + Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for upcoming paid or owned channel campaigns. + Actively propose timely, socially relevant content ideas tailored to real-time audience interests. + Proactively escalate and communicate issues, observations, opportunities, and insights to the appropriate client team. + Establish credibility as a thought leader on new social media tools, best practices and how organizations are using new tools, in order to gain a rapid competitive (and early adopter) advantage. + Further establish Digitas credibility in the social space by participating in professional networking arenas - attending/speaking at relevant events. + Serve as the go-to expert on paid social creative best practices, guiding creative teams on platform nuances and championing the social perspective in every discussion. **Qualifications** **We’re looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes:** + A 4-year degree and 5-8 years working in digital and/or communications + Experience living in the social media universe—you’re in-the-know on YouTube, Reddit, Tumblr, Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, blogs, etc. + Excellent research and writing skills—and the ability to create smart content quickly + Chronically online individuals with a passion for social media, culture and trends, constantly keeping a pulse on what’s new and exciting + Client facing and/or experience interfacing with clients via email or presentations + A genuine passion for creating and sharing content across emerging and established social platforms — wherever your creativity thrives + Experience working cross collaboratively across internal and external partner teams + The ability to back up great creative ideas with sound analytical reasoning + Willingness to travel – you’re open to new places, new faces and new idea + Familiarity with prompt-based interaction and commonly used generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DALL·E, Midjourney) is a plus, especially for tasks like ideation, research, or content generation. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
