Job DescriptionAs Senior Social Content Manager, you will lead the daily delivery of our clients' social media presence to achieve their goals. You will lead complete projects while providing oversight and support to junior team members. Reporting to VP of Content, you will oversee the delivery of social media calendars, ensuring all content aligns with platform best practices and client goals. Additionally, you will manage creator/influencer management, while also driving innovation in social media strategies.
The salary range for this position is $95,000 - 116,238 USD, annually.
Responsibilities
Oversee end‑to‑end social shoots, oversee brainstorming, pre‑production planning (run‑of‑show, call sheets, crew/talent booking, location/prop sourcing), on‑set capture and creative direction, and post‑production oversight.Be the primary on‑set liaison, working with clients, talent, and cross‑functional leaders in fast‑paced shoot environments.Support live events, shows, and livestreams with content capture, live posting, and rapid‑turn delivery.Lead asset delivery for our clients' social media output to include support and oversight of design and post-production briefing processes, working with Content Managers to ensure best practices are followed.Create and continue to oversee social copy development, ensuring it aligns with brand voice and platform best practices; this includes, supporting the development of Tone of Voice guidelines.Be the social lead on client events and shoots by directing talent; including, pre production and content capture at client events/shoots.For both paid and organic assets, you will manage our client's social media channels. This includes the development of social media calendars through to delivery, planning posting schedules, publishing and community management (for both paid and organic assets.Create strategic creative ideas and support new business opportunities, including deck development and client presentations.Oversee the delivery of social media reports for our clients, applying social best practices to provide analysis and optimizations.Lead talent management including research and profile sourcing, development/oversight of talent briefs and provides feedback on content production.Support new business activities, including social strategy/brainstorming, deck development, and client presentations.Keep up to date of platform best practices including new trends and behaviors across social media, able to start identifying tactical opportunities for our clients.QualificationsUnderstanding of paid media creative and 6+ years of experience working with media agencies.Expertise across all social media platforms: Meta (Facebook, Instagram), X, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Threads, Twitch.Full‑stack production fluency: Comfortable with cameras/phones, lighting, audio, and quick‑turn editing workflows (Adobe CC, DaVinci, CapCut, Frame.io, etc.) for vertical and horizontal formats.Expertise of Platform Business Manager (i.e Facebook business manager, X business, Snapchat for Business, TikTok Studio) and native platform tools/products: Proficiency with these tools and using them is necessary .A personal interest in popular culture and an understanding of social audiences and fandoms by speaking the language of the internet.Additional InformationJoin Jellyfish and experience a workplace where we prioritise your growth, celebrate your contributions, and empower you to tailor your work environment to suit your needs.
