ROLE SUMMARY
MAF Entertainment is hiring a Senior Social Media Manager to lead and grow the social media presence of all Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment brands. The role involves developing and executing an integrated social media strategy, increasing engagement and reach, and maintaining a consistent brand voice across digital channels. The manager will also lead a team and collaborate with various departments to build a strong, unified online presence.



ROLE PROFILE

Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with overall business and marketing goals to boost brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth.Influencer Marketing: Create and manage influencer strategies in collaboration with Marketing and PR teams to amplify brand messaging through key opinion leaders.Content & Copywriting: Oversee creation of high-quality, engaging content (posts, videos, blogs, ads, newsletters, etc.) that reflects brand voice and tone consistently.Brand Consistency: Ensure all social content maintains a unified brand identity and aligns with broader communication and marketing strategies.Community Management: Lead social community efforts, ensuring timely and positive engagement with audiences to protect and enhance brand reputation.Team Leadership & Collaboration: Manage and guide the social media team, and work cross-functionally with internal departments (Creative, Marketing, PR, etc.) to deliver effective campaigns.Performance & Trends Monitoring: Track and analyze campaign and content performance, implement data-driven improvements, and stay updated with social media trends and best practices.Additional Responsibilities: Support event coverage, manage executive LinkedIn profiles, collaborate on crisis communication planning, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.

 


REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field with 10+ years of social media and copywriting experience, ideally in entertainment, retail, or lifestyle sectors.Content Expertise: Strong portfolio showcasing creative, engaging, and results-driven social media content and writing.Platform & Tools Proficiency: Deep understanding of major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok), social media trends, and tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, and Google Analytics.Proven Performance: Demonstrated success in growing engagement, reach, and followers through strategic social media efforts, including paid campaigns.Skills & Collaboration: Excellent copywriting, editing, analytical thinking, and communication skills; capable of cross-functional teamwork and managing/mentoring a team.Work Environment: Full-time role based in Dubai with occasional travel; requires adaptability to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
