Senior Social Media Analyst
Location: Amsterdam (Onsite 3 days per week)

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Data & Insights Specialist with strong communication and presentation skills to support the adoption and strategic use of Meltwater across our brands and business units. This role is critical in enabling teams to extract actionable insights from social and media intelligence, build and maintain a robust media scorecard, and ensure consistent, high-quality reporting across markets.
Key Responsibilities
• Meltwater Enablement & Adoption
o Act as the go-to expert for Meltwater, supporting onboarding, training, and day-to-day usage across multiple brands and BUs.
o Partner with brand teams to embed Meltwater into their workflows and decision-making processes.
o Collaborate with the global Meltwater team and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with Unilever’s insights engine strategy.
• Media Scorecard Development
o Lead the creation and refinement of a standardized media scorecard to track brand performance, media impact, and consumer sentiment.
o Ensure the scorecard is actionable, scalable, and aligned with business KPIs.
• Insights Generation & Reporting
o Conduct daily monitoring and analysis of Meltwater dashboards and alerts.
o Deliver timely, insightful reports to brand teams, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
o Leverage AI-powered summaries and dashboards to streamline reporting.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Work closely with Consumer Market Insights, Communications, Digital, and Marketing teams to ensure insights are integrated into strategic planning.
o Support the development of use cases and best practices for Meltwater adoption across markets.
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Proven experience in consumer insights, media intelligence, or social listening roles.
• Deep familiarity with Meltwater or similar platforms (e.g., Brandwatch, Talkwalker).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into compelling narratives.
• Experience working in a matrixed, multinational organization.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working independently and driving initiatives across diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Background in FMCG or consumer brands
• Experience with AI-enabled reporting tools and dashboarding.
• Familiarity with Unilever’s digital ecosystem is a pre, while knowledge of GDT capabilities and tools (e.g., Brand DNAi, Smart Briefing) is a plus
