Join us at razorfish.com. **Overview** _This an immediate need for a freelance Senior Social Media Analyst to start ASAP and work on a 3+ month engagement for one of the largest entertainment and media brands. Freelancers will be considered for conversion to fulltime based on performance and budget._ As a Senior Social Analyst at Razorfish, you will be joining our 80+ person social discipline within our fast-growing Consumer & Content Experience practice. In this role, you will be embedded on-site with a leading entertainment client, collaborating closely with a 20+ person cross-functional team driving organic social strategy for both the brand and its expansive slate of original programming. You will be responsible for shaping data-informed, platform-native strategies that elevate our client’s social presence from evergreen storytelling to tentpole campaigns. This role focuses on channel planning, audience development, platform expertise, production management, and creative strategic thinking to guide editorial content and platform decisions in partnership with innovation, creative, and analytics stakeholders. If you are passionate about social media & the entertainment industry and are creative, detail-oriented, and love social media - this is the gig for you! **Responsibilities** + You think in franchise arcs, premiere windows, and fandom beats and know how to build content strategies that keep audiences engaged from teaser drop to finale buzz. + You can translate storylines into scroll-stopping social, bringing creative POVs and platform-native tactics to every asset, caption, and moment. + You follow audience signals like cliffhangers, using insights to guide content decisions and show up where (and how) fans are watching and reacting. + You thrive in a world of tight turnarounds, tiered titles, and tentpole calendars, knowing when to push, pivot, or pause. + You’re fluent in the language of streaming + social by understanding how to ladder up brand, title, and talent messaging across channels without losing voice. + You’re collaborative and comfortable behind the curtain, working cross-functionally with creative, insights, and talent teams to bring it all to life. **Key Responsibilities:** _Strategy_ + Serve as a strategic support across platform strategy, content planning, and social channel development for the client’s portfolio of handles (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, X, Threads, and more) + Guide the execution of platform strategy down to the post-by-post level, ensuring all content ladders up to broader campaign and channel goals + Partner with Creative and Marketing teams to inform always-on and campaign-based content strategies aligned with platform best practices and audience insights + Build and maintain strategic frameworks (channel roles, posting cadences, tentpole maps) to guide content planning and cross-functional alignment _Project Management_ + Leverage Monday.com and other project management tools to support workflow, coordination, and timely delivery + Demonstrate a clear understanding of assignment objectives and contribute original POVs, showing early development of a unique voice or area of specialty + Participate in campaign briefing and planning cycles from concepting to content mix modeling to performance wrap + Proactively communicate priorities and resourcing needs with internal and external partners _Collaboration + Communication_ + Collaborate with Insights when necessary to surface actionable insights that guide optimization and showcase the impact of social strategy + Begin building a strong grasp of our client’s business priorities by supporting planning, content choices, and audience engagement with that context in mind + Maintain a high level of responsiveness and follow-through that builds managerial trust and team reliability + Support new platform initiatives, emerging content formats, and testing plans for innovation and growth **Qualifications** + 3–5+ years of experience in social media strategy, content planning, or digital marketing, ideally in entertainment, media, or agency categories + Proven ability to create and implement platform-level and post-level strategies that reflect best practices and evolving algorithms + Demonstrates consistent understanding of campaign goals and strategic intent, with growing confidence in contributing thought leadership + Strong understanding of social platform mechanics, content formats, and voice with a developing point of view on what makes content work across each + Working proficiency in tools such as Monday.com, Airtable, Sprinklr, ListenFirst, and Sprout + Developing ability to communicate feedback, priorities, and asks clearly with both internal and client teams + Shows growing comfort using data to identify successes and opportunities, in partnership with analytics leads + Strong attention to detail and consistent ability to deliver tasks on time with light guidance + Beginning to understand how marketing priorities ladder into business goals, and how strategy supports them + Demonstrates a proactive, collaborative, and adaptable working style across teams and projects Not Needed, But Nice to Have: + Experience briefing and collaborating with creative teams, talent, or influencer partners + Knowledge of paid social strategy or how organic content can ladder into earned media + Comfort navigating a large matrixed organization or client with multiple stakeholders + Experience with entertainment marketing cycles or title-specific social planning + Familiarity with cultural research methods or trend forecasting tools + Background in journalism, editorial planning, or creative production a plus **Additional information** At Publicis Groupe, we offer medical and voluntary benefits to our freelancers and temporary employees. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
